Compassionately Direct Therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation between people, not a one-sided experience where you're left doing all the talking while I simply nod along. My clients often tell me they appreciate that I am warm, approachable, and fully present with them. I listen deeply and work hard to understand not only what you're saying, but also what may be underneath the words.

I won't shy away from difficult topics, and I won't avoid the truths that may be standing in the way of your growth. When I hear something important, I'll gently bring it into the conversation, even when it's hard. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to take risks, and empowered enough to make meaningful changes in your life.

I bring more than professional training into the therapy room. I have worked clinically in a variety of settings including medical, public school, and community health. In addition, I bring years of experience helping children, teens, adults, and couples navigate life's challenges, along with a deep appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit. I know that pain, loss, uncertainty, and struggle are part of being human, but I also know that healing, growth, and hope are possible.

The relationship I have with my clients is sacred to me. It is a privilege to walk alongside them as they discover their strengths, gain new insight, and create the life and relationships they want for themselves.
